Sunday Zen in the PZI Online Temple
—The Translucence of Life

June 4th at 10:30 AM Pacific Time
with John Tarrant & Friends

Meditation doesn’t add anything to life; it does have a magical property of subtraction so that you feel welcome in the world and can welcome others.

The thickets in the mind are not so thorny and difficult, and they themselves become doors. We didn’t do anything clever, we just stopped tangling ourselves up.

I spent six hours in the Santa Rosa DMV last Wednesday and even the lunatic quality of the bureaucracy is a doorway.

Even the stones and hills have their own light.

Waking up is something we do together, in the online temple on Sunday.
We love it when you join us.

Meditation is not a task with a known goal. It’s something you can’t do wrong, a chance for the things of this world to come towards you and to meet you, for doors to open by themselves, and for us to see where the ancient paths lead.
